Student of the Month
Nicholas is a graduate from Miami Palmetto Senior High School. He’s been an active member of the 5000 Role Models of Excellence Project for eight years. He served as the President for his school’s chapter. Over the years Nicholas has earned at least ten Principle Honor Rolls and three regular Honor Rolls.
He plans to attend Florida International University or Miami Dade College and major in Psychology. However, while majoring in psychology he will take required sciences for medical school, to ultimately specialize in emergency medicine.
He believes that the 5000 Role Models of Excellence Project has impacted his life by instilling a sense of responsibility for not just his fellow role models but all of those who he represents such as his school, community and family. Nicholas believes that the program has also strengthened his ability to make life goals to strive for the best.
When it comes to role models Nicholas considers his mother as his role model because she raised him and his two older brothers. His mother has enabled him to grow as a person by allowing him to see the world for himself. Nicholas mother inspires him daily to always be motivated and self-driven.
